Transient Aircraft Parking
The Kansas City Aviation Department owns and operates the Charles E. McGee General Aviation Terminal, 100LL avgas Self Service Fuel Station and six, first come, first served tie down parking spots for short-term transient parking. MKC does not charge for short-term parking at the tie-down locations. Download a diagram of the GA Hangars.
Wash Bay
Located just north of T-Hangar G, MKC provides a single aircraft wash bay for our general aviation aircraft owners. This first come-first served, free-of-charge amenity includes a hose and low-pressure nozzle and drainage from the pavement through an oil/water separator to prevent hydrocarbons from directly entering the storm water drainage on the airport. The aircraft owner is responsible for providing their own cleaning supplies and ensuring the area is FOD-free when they are finished washing their aircraft.
